Getting Started With Friend & Family Tracker

Setting up your tracking circle takes less than five minutes. Here's exactly what to do.

Step 1: Purchase Access

Click the "Get Started" button on the home page and complete the $1.59 one-time payment via Stripe. You'll receive immediate access — no account creation needed.

Step 2: Open the App

Click "I've Already Purchased — Open App" on the home page. You'll see your 3×3 grid with nine empty slots ready to fill. Allow location access when your browser asks — this lets your family see your location on their own grids.

Step 3: Add Your First Person

Click any empty slot on the grid. Enter the person's name, their email address, and optionally their phone number for text messaging. Hit "Send Invite." They'll receive a message explaining the app and asking for their permission to share their location with you.

Step 4: Wait for Acceptance

Until they accept, their card will show an amber status dot and "Invitation sent." Once they accept, the dot turns green and their live location appears on your grid. This normally takes just a few minutes.

Step 5: Stay in Touch

From any filled grid card, tap the Text or Email buttons to open a quick compose window. Your message will open in your phone's default SMS or email app with their contact already filled in.

That's it. Your family circle is live. You can add up to 9 people total, remove anyone at any time, and everyone can do the same on their own side.
